Chris Beaudry is a 5th generation farmer, stewarding a 6000 acre arable farm in the vast, unforgiving plains of Saskatoon, Canada. The film intimately follows a farmer tackling one of the biggest issues of our time, the erosion of our soil.
After the Humboldt bus crash claimed 16 lives, assistant coach Chris examined his life and the legacy he was leaving behind. He channelled his grief into actively transforming his 6,000 acre farm into a regenerative operation, going against the deep rooted traditions of his father and neighbors, all while running for MLA of his province to create systemic change for his communities.
